Kareena Kapoor wore distressed jeans and Akshay Kumar wore a distressed look with jeans at a Kambakkht Ishq press event Friday night, June 5, not to mention Kareena’s LOUD makeup.
The film’s lead stars were accompanied by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director Sabir Khan and composer Anu Malik at the event at Hotel Taj Lands End, Bandra Bandstand, Mumbai.
Kareena paired her folded cuff jeans with a crew neck floral print Abercrombie and Fitch tee. She accessorized with nude platforms, a watch in her left arm, a pearl ring in her right hand little finger and a chunky rock in her left hand ring finger. Is that a commitment ring from Saif? The couple has yet to announce their engagement.
Kareena’s straight hair was styled in a slicked down ponytail that draped her left shoulder. She wore her signature raccoon eye-liner (Instead of smudging the eyeliner for an all the way raccoon eye effect, her style is a bold, black neat line that encircles the entire eye), clumpy mascara, grey eye shadow, pale pink lip color and bright pink blush.
Akshay Kumar looked tired and out of his elements. He has been extremely busy over the past 3 days, keeping long hours filming a song and dance sequence for his new film Action Replay. But that did not come in the way of his statement dressing style. He paired his slim jeans with a pink floral V-neck tee under a midnight blue oversized shirt with folded cuffs and silver Louis Vuitton loafers. His shiny designer footwear…need we say more.
He also debuted a new hairstyle with the crown hair spiked, presumably part of his look in Action Replay.
Kambakkht Ishq has been slotted for a July 10 release, now that the strike by Bollywood producers has been lifted following a settlement with national multiplex chains
