Being produced by Yash Raj Films, this romantic comedy sees Uday playing a nerdy, awkward, socially-challenged and bespectacled geek while Priyanka plays the conventional beauty. Uday and Priyanka had a blast even after the pack-up as they went exploring the city. The film’s next schedule is slated to be held in Mumbai. Meanwhile, YRF is yet to present a clear picture on the film’s release as it awaits an official announcement about the strike coming to an end.

Vijay Galani’s Veer is 95 per cent complete
Producer Vijay Galani’s Veer, starring Salman Khan and newbie Zareen, is 95 percent complete. The unit has just got back from a 25-day schedule in the UK where several scenes were picturised on Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff, Sohail Khan and Zareen. Most of the scenes were shot in and around London, with several British castles and mansions depicting ancient architecture serving as the shoot venues. Several vintage cars and horse-carts were also hired to give the film an authentic old-world look.

Hundred and ten people were flown in from India while 200 junior artistes were hired from London for scenes involving crowds. About 10 to 15 days of shooting is now remaining, which will be done in Mumbai. Slated for a year end release, the film will then move into post-production. Directed by Anil Sharma, Veer is a period drama set in 1880 London, and revolves around Salman, who plays a warrior.
