Big Bollywood actor and actress Arrests news

Bollywood actors and actresses tend to try to keep their image a little cleaner than their Hollywood counterparts. Probably because in an industry where love scenes are rare, they have to at least give a persona that shines of moral high grounds. And yet, Desi Hits! managed to compile a list of arrests that were made. We admit that many of them were pretty silly, but there are still more than we ever thought there would be! Here's our list:

Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty was arrested in 2007 for her "kiss" with Richard Gere. Many would agree that the law enforcement overreacted about this.

Mona Chopra

Skin bearing model turned actress, Mona Chopra, was arrested in 2006 for having a bikini photo session without the rights permits. Those cops probably confiscated some steamy photos as well.

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt was arrested back in 1993 for possessing an illegal firearm. Now, he's in politics. See, the system DOES work

Salman Khan

Salman Khan is a great actor but we wonder when he ever had time to make movies with all the arrests behind him! Starting in 1997 he was arrested for poaching the Black Buck. Around 2001 he was arrested for his connection with the underworld mafia of Mumbai. In 2002 he was arrested for his behavior and negligent driving where he killed one person and injured others. Today he's giving back by creating charities and shooting commercials about the dangers of drunk driving. We're proud of you Salman.

Akshay Kumar & Twinkle Khanna

Akshay Kumar & Twinkle Khanna were both arrested this year for obscenity at the Levi's fashion show. We would hate to see what would've happened if they kissed in public while unbuttoning the jeans
