Big B writes on his blog that Preity’s IPL team was hugely depressed and Preity wanted to cheer them up. She called up Amitabh Bachchan and asked him if he could do a small TV bite to cheer her players.

Amitabh readily agreed to do his part. Amitabh and Preity have done two films together like Veer Zaara and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.
They share a good bond between them. They are also coming up in the upcoming film The Last Lear. Amitabh also wrote that cricket has become so big and
important and that the T20 series which has shifted to South Africa due to the security and upcoming election concerns is a sheer delight. The second season of IPL will will be starting from April 18 in SouthAfrica.
